Inauguration of Iran’s largest kaolin processing complex by the Honorable Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly
According to the Public Relations Unit, the largest kaolin and industrial soil processing complex in Iran (Cuspid) was put into operation in the presence of the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly in the Baig district of Torbat-e Heydariyeh city. CEO of Zarmehr Mining Industrial Group Marlik said at the opening ceremony of these two projects as a private sector investor: Kaspid, a subsidiary of Zarmehr Mining Industrial Group, has been designed, completed and put into operation with a capacity of 250,000 tons per year, using experienced local experts in this field, and with a credit of 500 billion tomans. Stating that the number of jobs created in this project is 200 people, he added: The opening of this large complex has saved 8 million dollars in foreign exchange for the country. He said: The company’s kaolins, with various quality grades and reserves of several tens of million tons, are transported from the large Sarsepidar mine owned by Zarmehr Company, based on the production plan and using an advanced and very large homogenization system at the factory, are completely homogenized and then processed and marketed in the form of products under the Caspid brand for the tile, ceramic, porcelain, and other industries.”
